The physical paper AR is accepted in court. The sender is always the client — we act as mandatary under the mandate you accept when placing the order.

The Dispatch Declaration we issue strengthens your evidentiary basis, but we're direct about it: final recognition in court depends on the specific case and the judge's decision.

If the AR doesn't arrive at your address within 2 weeks, contact us — we handle the situation with CTT and issue a duplicate at no extra cost. The recipient will need to sign again upon delivery.

Friendly reminder: if the AR did arrive, make sure it was actually signed by the recipient. Case law disregards letters delivered to “neighbours” or third parties — unfortunately, this happens more often than you’d think.

In that case, the letter usually stays at the Distribution Centre or CTT Shop/Point for a week awaiting collection by the recipient. If they don't collect it, it's returned to the sender — that is, to you.

No. We physically see the documents when we print and seal them in envelopes, but we don't read them. We want to look our Partners in the eye and say: "No, we have never read other people's letters." We don't want to be dragged into matters that don't concern us, nor to retain details of your affairs; we also have a private life and we value it. These aren't just marketing phrases — they are Our Commitment to our Partners.

We only accept PDF format, to preserve the content's formatting. For letters in DL envelopes (11×22 cm) we print in black and white. For C4 format (33×24 cm) we use a padded postal mailer, pages are printed in black and white, 80/gsm, unfolded. Duplex printing is disabled — the back of each page is blank.

We always try to get your correspondence to CTT as early as possible. We cut off acceptance at 15:00 on working days and deliver batches at 16:00. The CTT postman usually comes to our preferred post office by 17:30.

On working days we process orders once a day. We don't usually work at weekends. But if it's absolutely critical, confirm in the chat: for an extra payment of €25–€50, depending on the time, we'll go to a CTT shop/point that's still open. Even on Saturdays.

The site accepts MB Way, Visa, Mastercard, Google Pay and Apple Pay. On request, we also issue Multibanco References.

For discounted corporate volumes, we accept bank transfer (PT50…) or Direct Debit. If your case is atypical, get in touch — we'll try to accommodate other payment methods.
